Sunmy offers compression molding for a wide range of rubber, silicone, and composite materials, producing durable, high-strength parts for industrial, automotive, and consumer applications. The process is well suited to low-to-medium volume production, large or thick-walled parts, and designs that are difficult to mold by other methods. Typical parts include gaskets, seals, bushings, pads, grips, and insulating components.
We work from your 2D drawings, 3D models, or physical samples, and our engineering team reviews material selection, mold design, tolerance requirements, and cost optimization before production begins. Tooling development, molding, deflashing, and selected finishing operations are coordinated through audited partners, while Sunmy engineers manage dimensional inspection, CMM verification, and FAI before shipment. Send us your drawings or samples and our team will get back to you with a fast, competitive quote.
Compression molding is the most cost-effective method for producing rubber and silicone parts. We place pre-heated material into an open heated mold cavity, then apply pressure to force the material into contact with all mold areas.
Silicone, EPDM, NBR (Nitrile), Neoprene, and Viton.
Lower tooling costs compared to liquid silicone injection molding (LSR).
Excellent for parts requiring high heat resistance, chemical resistance, or sealing properties.
O-rings, gaskets, seals, keypad buttons, and vibration dampeners.
